Mr. Hiroyasu Kondo founded Audio Note in 1976 to share his discoveries with the larger audio community.

In 1988 Audio Note introduced the single-ended, no-feedback, directly heated triode amplifier to the world audio marketplace. Since then, Audio Note has justly become the most renowned manufacturer and most famous purveyor of this type of amplification in the world.

47 Laboratory

The entire 47 Laboratory System is the creation of Junji Kimura. He is an electronic designer and audiophile who has worked for an impressive variety of audio firms. In 1963, at the age of 23. he began with Pioneer, moving on to Kenwood, Luxman and Kyosera before founding his own company, 47 Laboratory, in 1992.
