KONDO's power amplifier in the new era is the fusion of ONGAKU reputed as the world's best sound amplifier and NEIRO that extracts the maximum atmosphere peculiar to 2A3.

Output transformer characterizes most of the KSL-NEIRO. Audio Note have spent 10 years to solve how to obtain the sound equal to 'silver wired' OPT by means of copper wired OPT. Through trial and error, we have at last discovered a new wire winding method in KSL technology.

KSL technology was first fruited as a line cable, which wan raves being superbly good sound after marketed. The KSL OPT was developed in the same configuration as this line cable. Sound features natural smoothness and fine separation of sounds enabling you to feel each note and tone.

Conventional single ended amplifiers have 'much distortion' because of non-linearity of a power valve and 'much distortion in low frequency range' due to lack of inductance born by letting audio signals (AC) flow together with DC to OPT. KSL-NEIRO has, however, not only solved both problems by parallrelly coupling 2A3 having low inner resistance of 800 ohms, but also doubled the output power thanks to skillfully designed circuit structure.

Many NEIRO users proposed to feature it with an input selector. So, we added the version KSL--NEIRO/LINE amplifier which has a line amplifier docked to the amp's front area with 3 input selections and voltage amplification stage. By this, we gained a merit more in cost and sound quality than using a separate line amplifier. The looks reminds you of the ONGAKU

Many people challenged and poured much energy into audio engineering in respects of new technologies and techniques, new systems, and new materials to improve reproduction sounds since Thomas Edison invented Phonograph, having fruited with great progress nowadays. However, it seems that we had reached a limit, and I wondered whether all these efforts were worth success. Maybe we needed to reflect on the past. Hence a new approach to "improve sounds".

GAKUOH Monaural Power Amplifier As the flagship of our Kondo power amplifiers, these provide an alternative to our other single-ended amplifiers. Gakuoh redefined the ultimate sound quality of Push Pull Circuit. Kondo's only high power amplifier rated at 30W of highly musical sound using 300B, hand made with in-house KSL-silver wired opt, in-house silver foil capacitor, in-house KSL-resistors, silver binding posts, non distortion power supply and handmade silver wire wiring.

 

Since 1988, Ongaku is the evergreen model of Audionote Japan. The current production is now using partial KSL technology (internal wiring). This improved the overall frequencies response over the older productions.
