Silver Interconnect, terminated with AN-Ps or XLR plug

All Kondo silver wire manufactured by Audio Note Japan is 99.99% pure silver coated with six coats of a special polyurethane varnish applied immediately after drawing. This prevents oxidation and provides mechanical surface damping of the proper 'Q'. The wire is then age annealed to enhance the crystal boundary chemistry. Remember that the music signal has an electro-chemical component. A/C current causes chemical changes in the wire alloy. Age annealed copper and silver wires have a purer and gentler sound than the hot or cold or chemically annealed wires. Audio Note is the only audio manufacturer to use this expensive age annealing process to make their wire. After the aging process, it is then braided into either a 15-wire, 20 wire or 30 wire Litz configuration. The braid is then coated with a custom extruded polyurethane foam. This coating provides a proper impedance match with the wire braid and the wire jacket. The wire feels soft and supple and provides the best possible ''wave guide' for the music signal "shockwave".

"I developed various silver cables such as AN-S, AN-V, AN-Sx, AN-Vz, AN-SPx, and AN-SPz all which were always designed to decrease audible 'distortion' generated within wire materials. Now we have reached the design of AN-KSL which dramatically reduces 'exaggerated' music expression also generated within wire materials, and to precisely reproduce 'original acoustic sound' when absorbed into recording microphone(s). This cable has manually made by reprocessing disassembled wires of AN-Vz cable into KSL configuration." - H. Kondo, Audio Note Japan
