Kondo and 47Lab, both use non-over sampling with no digital filter techniques to the design of their DAC's. Kondo's DAC is valve based, the analogue side of the DAC being really a mini (actually not so mini) power amplifier dealing with the analogue reproduction. It is superbly made and sounds tremendous and you had better hear it and I suggest you should really hear it before choosing any other DAC.
